RAVEN SYMONE: THE $400 MILLION DOLLAR WOMAN

Raven Symone who first shot to fame in The Cosby Show as the cute little toddler "Olivia" graces the latest cover of Ebony magazine and has a lot to be proud of. It says she made over 400 million dollars for the "Raven Brand" not to mention she's been the face of Disney for the past couple of years (That's So Raven). In fact, her show was the first in Disney history to get an additional season past the normal expiration time. On top of that, there has been the merchandising for That's So Raven, The Cheetah Girls, her CD's, her perfume and her clothing line. I think that Raven is such a positive role model, not just for black women but for ALL young woman in general. She shows that you don't have to be a size zero to be successful. She refuses to conform to Hollywood's notion that to get a foot through the door you have to be stick thin. Check out her Ebony cover:

It's only a facial shot but she looks beautiful. A lot of people rag on her weight and say she needs to lose it and that to be the size she is for someone her age then she cannot possibly be healthy. I do worry about that but the last pictures I saw, she had lost a couple of pounds. I'm sure she knows she's a bit overweight and strives to work on it but I hope she doesn't pressurise herself to get really skinny. She is the face for curvy women and has been the most successful out of all the Cosby Show children. Regardless of being a bigger size she is a gorgeous young woman and she shouldn't allow anyone to tell her different. She practically sticks her middle finger up at the Hollywood rule, refuses to lose weight, embraces her voluptuosness and at just 21 years old, she is a very smart and savvy orientated business woman. She is up there with the Olsen twins financially I believe but at least she's not cracked out and continues to maintain a positive image. She also made the Forbs list as being one of the richesh under-25's. Well done Raven. Proceed with the post to see more pictures of Raven in Ebony and to get today's latest R&B scoop.

Absolutely stunning!

Oh-Uh, they said it was comin', oh they said it was comin'. Bossip.com has put up a sneak preview of Kim Kardashian and Ray-J's sex tape and so you can preview it by clicking [HERE].

New York Daily News claims to have viewed the sex tape of singer Ray-J and socialite Kim Kardashian who repeatedly lied that a sex tape even existed. On Thursday of last week, she came clean to Sal Masekela of E!'s "Daily 10" and admitted there is not just a tape, but more than one. "Have there been tapes? Maybe, yes," she confessed. "But are they for sale? That's our business." Well, on Tuesday, porn purveyor Vivid Video bought the tape for $1 million from an unidentified source. The company plans to have a DVD titled "Kim Kardashian Superstar" in stores by Feb. 28, with additional footage on kimksuperstar.com. Damn, damn, damn! This is one sex video I'd like to see, mainly because I want to see if Ray-J is packing and something tells me that he is but we will find out soon enough. LOL!!!

In other Norwood reports, it appears there is good news for Brandy. TMZ.com is reporting that the $50 Million lawsuit filed against Brandy is considered invalid by California state law.

As previously reported, Brandy was involved in a car crash that killed Awatef Aboudihaj, mother of one, on December 30, 2006. Since then, the California Highway Patrol recommended that Brandy be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. The next day the parents of the victim filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against Brandy. Well according TMZ.com, California state law says that a wrongful death lawsuit can only be filed by the spouse. What is even more deep is that the parents of the victim live in Morocco fulltime and has barely had contact with their daughter. The victim's husband still plans to sue but won't tell for how much, however he did say it'd be a combination of her insurance policy plus a little more from Brandy herself. I think this is foul if the parents had no contact with the daughter but 50 million dollars was just ridiculous, like 50 million is going to bring their daughter back. I am really sorry about their loss though but it all seems fair now that Brandy will pay a reasonable amount to the husband and it was in fact an accident after all.
